Seniors Open Golf tees off on Aug. 25

Accra, Aug. 17, GNA-The 19th Annual Ghana Amateur Seniors Open Golf championship tees off at the Bok Nam Kim Golf Course at the Air-Force Officers Mess in Accra from Saturday, August 25 to Sunday, August 26.

Professor George Ntsiful, President of the Ghana Golf Association (GGA), who announced this in Accra on Friday, said the two-day 36-Hole Scratch event, is open to senior golfers between the ages of 55 years and above, was being sponsored by Goil Ghana Limited. He said the competition, which is expected to attract about 100 golfers is being sponsored by Goil Ghana Limited and would be played under the local rules of the GGA Professor Ntsiful said the competition is also open to senior golfers throughout the country. Five prizes would be awarded in the Men's category while three would go to the Ladies section.

Mr Dua Agyemang, Managing Director of Goil Ghana Limited would be the Special Guest of Honour.
