Accra, Feb 13. GNA - Ghana's Golf Queen, Ms Mona Captain said she is set to show case her class in next month's long awaited African Ladies Golf championship slated for Namibia.
When the GNA Sports met the 'Golf Queen' at the Achimota Golf Club at the week-end, was however evasive about her chances and her feat, but said she was capable of winning the ultimate.
The SWAG reigning Best Female Golfer of all times, said that it is difficult to predict a win in a 'strange' country, adding that one has to travel to the spot to assess the golf course to be in a better frame of mind of chalking success at such competitions. Captan said that Ghanaian golfers are naturally endowed and with the necessary push, Ghana is capable of producing world-class golfers to compete in international championships.
The winner of over 250 laurels assured Ghanaians that the local team would surely bring honour to Ghana at the African Cup even if she does not make an individual mark.
