Hammond wins Coca Cola Medal Golf

Tema, Aug. 3, GNA - Noel Hammond returned a net score of 65 to win the July edition of the Coca Cola Monthly open golf championship played at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Sunday.

Hassan Mustapha Bala who was beaten on count-back, took the second position while Daniel Aryee placed third with 66 net.

Leticia Amponsah-Mensah won the Ladies category with 74 net, Vivian Dick came second with 76 net while Grace Amoah took the third position with 77 net.

The one-day 18-hole Stable-ford competition attracted 100 golfers.

Mr Oswald Amuzu, the Competition Secretary urged the golfers to take the competition seriously to improve upon their Handicaps.

The next event would be held on Saturday, August 28.
