Etwi – Barimah, Brig. Odei win TCGC Lipton bi-monthly medal

The penultimate edition of this years Lipton bi-monthly golf competition at the Tema Country Golf Club (TCGC), was held on the greens of the club last Saturday.
It ended successfully with Captain of the TCGC, Brig. Gen. (RTD) J. Odei and the evergreen Florence Etwi-Barimah claiming honours in the main events.
The Tema captain closed the day with a net score of 66 after 18 holes to win the men event and was presented with a trophy to go for his troubles.
Finishing second in the men category was K. Kronzu whose 69 was three strokes adrift of the winner. E. K. Owusu and E. K. Ocansey took third and fourth places respectively with nets scores of 72.
The highly interesting ladies event was won by Florence Etwi-Barimah who finished the day with a close of play score of 72 which was two strokes better than her nearest rival.
Second place went to Grace Amoah whose score of 74 was three strokes better than the 77 Grace Afriyie played to take third position.
The event was sponsored by Uniliver Ghana Limited with its brand Lipton tea and the season ending competition will come off in December when all of this years winners will be expected to be in action.
