Donkor wins Tema Medal Golf

Tema, Sep. 3, GNA - Emmanuel Donkor returned a net score of 67 to win this month's Tema Country Golf Club Medal Championship played at Tema on Saturday.

E.K, Ocansey came second with 68 net while Nicolo Catto took the third position with 69 net.

Francisca Vandyck won the Ladies event with 69 net when she beat veteran Mona Captan on count-back.

More than 80 golfers from Achimota, Tema , Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim Golf Clubs took part in the one-day 18-Hole stable-ford competition. The championship was sponsored by Tema Country Golf Club. Mr Kofi Gyau, Captain of the Tema Country Golf Club advised members of the Clubs to take competitions seriously to enhance their chances of winning major competitions and medals.

The captain was assisted by Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the Club to present prizes to the deserving winners.
