Chaudari wins Celebrity Medal Golf

Tema, Oct. 21, GNA - Satyjeet Chaudari returned a net score of 66 to win this month's Celebrity Golf Club Medal Open Championship played at Sakumono, near Tema on Sunday.

Chaudari who played 50 Back and 44 Front with a Handicap of 28, will now be playing to a new Handicap of 25.

David Nazareth also returned a score 66 net but lost on count-back to Chaudari to place second, J.W. Chiu placed third with 66 net but also lost on count-back to Nazareth while George Haridas placed fourth by losing on count-back to Chiu.

Hill Tuakli won the Ladies event with 64 net with Victoria Adjei placing second with 73 net.

The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition, which was opened to amateur golfers in the Greater Accra Region, attracted about 100 golfers.

The Captain of the Celebrity Golf Club, Joe Ohemeng was assisted by Aileen Conteh, Lady Captain to present prizes to the deserving winners.
