Celebrity Medal Golf tees off on May 26

Tema, May 21, GNA - The May Medal Open Golf Championship of the Celebrity Golf Club will be held at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday, May 26.

Mr Ato Enndman, Club Manager of the Celebrity Golf Club who announced this at Tema on Monday, said about 100 amateur golfers from Achimota, Tema, and Bok Nam Kim Golf Clubs, are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Medal event.

He said the entry requirement for the event which would be played under the local rules of the Club, is Handicap 18 for the Men while that of the Ladies will be Handicap 24. Mr Enndman said the management of the Club is working feverishly to ensure that a very successful tournament is organised. Joe Ohemeng will lead the Celebrity team which will include Abdul-Aziz Amankwa, champion of the April Medal. 21 May 07
