Celebrity Golf to honour Chinese Ambassador

Tema, May 17, GNA - Celebrity Golf Club will play host to Bok Nam Kim Golf Club at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday, May 19.

The event is aimed at honouring Mr Zhang Keyuan, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Ghana for his contribution towards the development of the sport.

Mr Ato Enndman, Club Manager of the Celebrity Golf Club, announced this at Tema on Thursday. He said the one-day Match Play event, which is a return friendly encounter is also aimed at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two Clubs. Mr Enndman said the Club was putting in place measures to ensure that the Course was put in good place and made playable. He said some of thegolfers expected to feature for the Celebrity Golf Club include Joe Ohemeng, captain of the Club, Abdul-Aziz Amankwa, the April Medal Champion and Theophilus Asempah.
