Aziz Amankwa wins Coca Cola Medal Golf

Tema, April 24, GNA - Abdul Aziz-Amankwa returned a net score of 69 to win this month's Coca Cola Medal Open Golf Championship played at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday. The second position went to Geoffrey Avornyotse with 71 net with Harrison Aduagyei placing third with 72 net.

In the Ladies encounter, Jane Tuakli came first with 67 net with Vivienne Oberoi placing second with 73 net The One-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was open to amateur golfers in the Greater Accra Region was sponsored by Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited.

Mr Akwasi Opoku, Vice Captain of the Celebrity Golf Club advised the members to take active interest in the activities of the Club. He also tasked them to take the various events seriously to enable them improve upon their Handicaps.
