Amexado wins Achimota Medal golf

Emmanuel K. Amexado scored 10 points to win the Achimota Golf Club May Monthly Medal Competition played at Achimota on Saturday.

David Edwards came second with nine points, John Cobbina was third with eight points, Kamel Noshie placed fourth with seven points while Samuel Adetola took the fifth position with six points.

The one-day 18-hole stableford competition, which attracted about 70 golfers was sponsored by Taysec Construction Limited.

Golfers use the monthly medal competitions to sharpen their strokes for a major event.

The club's next major competition is the J.S. Addo Seniors scheduled for May 17 at th3e Achimota Golf Course
