Agyiri wins Access Bank Medal Golf

Prince Agyiri returned a net score of 66 to win the Tema Country Golf Club Access Bank Medal Open Golf played at Tema on Sunday.

He was followed by Amoah Ebo-Dacosta with 70 points, beating Enoch Nyarko on count-back Yaw Ani won the Group ‘B’ category with 67 points, while Tony Domingo came second with 68 points, beating Dominic Adjapong on count-back.

Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong came first in the Ladies segment with 68 net while Florence Etwi-Barima placed second with 78 net.

In the Professional’s event, Vincent Torgah emerged champion with 68 net, Kwame Ligbidi placed second with 69 net, beating Emmanuel Osei on count-back.

The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play attracted 100 golfers from the Greater Accra Region.

Dolapo Ogundimu, Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana said the bank would continue to offer support for the development of the sport in the ensuing years.
