Afariwaa Invitational golf at Tema

The annual Afariwaa Invitational Golf championship tees off at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday, December 27.

Mr Alex Fiagomey, Captain of the Club who announced this at Tema on Saturday, said the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition for amateur golfers from Achimota, Celebrity, Bok Nam Kim and Tema, is being sponsored by Afariwaa Farms and Livestock Product Limited. He said the event, which has full handicap as the entry requirement is expected attract more than 130 participants.

Mr Fiagomey named some of the golfers who had registered for the competition from Tema, as Felix Owusu-Adjapong, Eric Henaku, John Cobbina, in the Men's Section while Mona Captan, Mary Asafo-Adjaye, Yaa Konadu Safo-Debrah and Beatrice Bempong, had registered for the Achimota Club.
