150 for Peugeot Challenge golf finals on Sunday

The finals of this year's Peugeot Challenge Golf Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Sunday, June 29.
More than 150 golfers who qualified from the Regional competitions held last week throughout the country, are expected to participate in the event which is being sponsored by Prestige Motor Company Limited (PMCL) with support from Lufthansa Airlines, Golden Tulip Hotel, Labadi Beach Hotel, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and Imperial Peking.
Mr Nich Adi-Dako, Managing Director of Prestige Motor Company Limited, who announced these in Accra on Thursday, said winners of the Men's and the Ladies event respectively, would represent Ghana in the World International Peugeot Challenge Cup Finals scheduled for France in September, this year.
He said PMCL has, as part of its corporate responsibility, set itself the objective of contributing to the development of lesser-known sports in the country.
Mr Adi-Dako said the spirit of fair competition and the yearning for performance and winning, values that are highly upheld by every member of the Prestige family are what drives the company to continue to sponsor the event.
Some of the golfers who would be participating in Sunday finals included, Kamal Noshie, the defending champion, Mike Aggrey, Alex Fiagomey, Samuel Adetola and J.K. Kally for the Men's event while Mona Captan, Florence Etwi-Barimah, Suzie Kumassah and Grace Komladzei would be vying for the Ladies championship.
Mr Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports is the special guest of honour.
