100 to vie for Tema Ladies Captain's Prize

Tema, March 12, GNA - A cream of 100 lady golfers will assemble at the Tema Country Golf Course on Saturday, March 13 to vie for the club's Lady Captain's Prize.

A spokesman for the club told the GNA Sports that the competition being sponsored by Mrs Esi Cobbina, Lady Captain of Tema Golf Club is open to amateur golfers from Tema, Achimota, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim golf clubs.

The likes of Mary Asafu-Adjaye, Mona Captan, Florence Etwi-Barimah and Yaa Konadu Safo-Debrah would battle each other for the prestigious cup.

Achimota Golf Club would hold their Captain's Prize competition on Sunday, March 14.

The competition, an 18-Hole Stableford, is also open to Tema, Achimota, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim golf clubs. It is to be sponsored by Mr Leslie Adetola, Captain of Achimota Golf Club.
