This article is making too much of this incidence.

It is clear that the incidence was not authorised by the Ghana government and should not at all be taken as a sanctioned action of the government of Ghana.

The Ghana government must still take full responsibility because it is its duty to protect all the diplomatic missions on its land from the deleterious actions of its own citizens. This, the government of Ghana has not done. It is an indictment on the government. But this should not be taken as if it is a government sanctioned action against Nigeria. It is just part of the lawlessness in our African countries (something Nigeria itself is not spared). This thing will never happen in a country that respects its own laws!!!

The Ghana government has quickly apologised, promised a thorough investigation and the payment of indemnities.

For now, this should suffice. We wait to see how matters develop.
