Life after Coronavirus, has it crossed your mind?

I come from that part of the world that has no cushion, that lives on imports and thrives on foreign grants and loans.

A snail paced economy defined by struggling Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Religiously clothed continent that is subject to hypocrisy. We are easily driven by superstition, sense of entitlement killing many.

Where many are horse-driven by partisan politics and settle for less.

Despite efforts by governments and relevant stakeholders, corona virus has echoed our deficient condition:

good ideas but poor implementation plans, inadequate basic needs including food, water, shelter among others. The poor and battered African is left at the mercy of hasty and unjust political decisions.

The thought of post-covid-19, puts me in state of paralysis and despondency.
Can we absorb the shocks? Have we learnt something in this daring situation?

What are the plans towards food security?

On and on it goes......

Always reactive and never proactive.

There are simply no reserves.

Africa must wake up, we've slept enough.
