Stay home!

File photo File photo

You have walked all the corners of your apartment for the past week just to find an escape.

Just a week and some few days at home and you miss your routine.

The same people that complained about morning traffic, stress and unfavorable working conditions want to resort to the same devil they hate.

The opportunity we yearned for has been presented to us; spending quality time with the family, having adequate rest, ample time to reflect on life, soul searching, birth new ideas and strategize to blossom.

We are still unaware of this glorious opportunity. Truly the insatiable needs of man. We are never satisfied but rather predictable.

The uncontrollable man has finally been put behind bars. The order, stay home.

No, we are bored, we want to step out, we are hungry, we need to feed the family....on and on it goes.....any reason to sail out of prison.

We don't learn. Corona is a joke to Africans. Haven't we heard enough, haven't we seen a lot on TV? Day in day out lives are lost.

"We are blacks, we have a better immune system, our hot climate will kill the virus, God loves blacks" sentimental reasons to disregard precautionary measures

A pity!

You live in Africa with poor infrastructure. Be reminded, developed countries who equally know God are hard hit. Majority of deaths recorded in the US are blacks. Iran has a hotter climate but the death toll is unbearable and to compound the problem there are no vaccines to immunize our system against the virus.

The little hope we have to live is "social distancing".

Yes we live a carefree life. Yes we are religious. Yes God will provide but until then we have to obey; #StayHome
