Ghana Premier League 2019/2020: Broadcasting right at crossroads

GTV have expressed interest in airing the games GTV have expressed interest in airing the games

It’s has become necessary for the government of Ghana and the Ghana football Association to save the interest of the football fans in Ghana as we as a country seek to restore the lost glory in our football.

GBC must be encouraged to deliver the game to all Ghanaians, this will provide the state broadcaster the opportunity to revamp its equipment and facilities.

It is on record and can be said be factually accurate that It is GBC crew who are hired to produce the games for Startimes and others hence the chance for GBC to even do butter.

The price of a decoder can be a gargantuan and unbearable task for some households let alone having to pay some how for a subscription, these couple with other factors are some of the reasons why I think it is necessary for the broadcast right of the upcoming league season be given to a free to air TV so that as many people as possible who have ordinary TV sets can comfortably sit in their homes as the National Broadcaster GBC do the needful by helping solve this dilemma.

As Doctor Kwame Nkrumah first president of the Republic of Ghana once said “ The black man is capable of managing his own affairs”,I also think that the black man need the unflinching support from his fellow black men to properly manage his affairs.

From what I have seen in recent years I believe strongly that when given the chance GBC through its channels GTV ,GTV sports + and all its other TV and Radio Stations will be good to do a good.

I want to believe strongly that this hardworking government will like and be comfortable to support by sponsoring the league and lock it on decoders,I strongly think that it’s about time football people or administrators protected the good interest of the Ghanaian football supporters.
