One of Ghana?s first Fifa Licensed players? agent (or representatives, as he prefers to be known) has sent a message to players of the Black stars and Ghana?s top footballers not to shy away or be deterred by the prospects of plying their trade in England and the Premiership.

Speaking in an interview, the young but charming individual describe his passion for the game and his ambition to assist those that qualify to play in England, by being the bridge to realize their full potential and in doing so improve the BLACK STARS.

Kasey K Duku has built a strong rapport with top clubs in England and around Europe and has revealed that indeed he was behind the venture which saw an attempt to secure the Black stars captain to England, he claims ?During the Olympic games and prior to the games, two or possible more of the Premiership big boys sent scouts to watch identified players, reports were satisfactory but the time span was an obstacle?. Indeed Kasey has also revealed that at least four of the current Black stars players, some whom are still contracted to clubs in Europe remain targets for the big premiership clubs ?Its only a matter of time, once the clubs they are contracted to, grant permission according to fifa regulations, then I can comment, but I am the bridge between the players and England?.

In the same interview Kasey praised Space FM for their coverage of crucial Blackstar games (via online), the work of Ghanaweb and indeed Space FM and Ransford Antwi who is crucial to providing up to date coverage and information, whilst tracking the movement of the players ? Ghanaweb and Space FM are an essential tool, as the information and their coverage of sports especially football is second to none, Ransford is a close ally and highly rated in Ghana and the UK and has close tiers with the BBC? Kasey confirmed.

In reference to how he strived to achieve his feat Kasey said ?I recall, my days when my secondary school Tom Hood School beat David Beckham and Chingford school in a Schools Cup semi-final. I was voted man of the match, and I went on the following year to play for Millwall schoolboys briefly, as my father insisted on me enhancing my education, however I never lost interest and played amateur football. It was during my first degree in Money, Banking and Finance that I decide to pursue matters close to my heart, and I combined the degree with being a Fifa licensed players? representative.

After my degree I still managed to pursue a Masters? degree in Corporate Governance, but Football is my passion, unlike most agents I am transparent and continue to assist throughout the player?s career providing necessary aid and ensuring compliance to various regulations as well as meeting their professional obligations. I dare not judge others, but many agents are business people (believe of self indulgence) and do not put the players first, many players are enticed by short-term rewards and not how to enhance their careers and blossom, its criminal the amount of players that have been left to rot on benches due to ill advise, rest assured I aim to help restore some of the status of the Black stars players as they need not to be held to ransom. Indeed some are not aware that after two years of being with their managers should they be dissatisfied with them they are free to serve them notice and seek to select or collaborate with an agent or representative of their choice?.

Kasey also calls for the full support of the new Black stars coach and wish the Stars every little luck which should ensure them success in their crucial pursuit to qualify for the World cup finals. Kasey also revealed how may Black Stars turn their back on the team once they have gained individually ?It is damaging to themselves and Ghana Football, I edge them to continue playing for Black stars as it does not just help the Nations game, but it?s also crucial when renewing work permits for Europe?.
