All those openly agitating for, or secretly praying to God for, His Will for justice to prevail in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute, I have had the inner feeling, which is to me the voice of God, to publish this article to cheer you up. You have to remain steadfast in your belief that as long as God is faithful and unlike human being who at times eats back his sputum, what He has said about Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua V, a true royal of same matrilineal descent as Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua I, the originator of the Kumawu Kodua Stool, shall come to pass.

Those who are biblically knowledgeable will bear me witness that at times, for unexplained reasons, God’s promise to one can tarry before materialising but regardless, it will come to fruition in the end when one least expects or may have given up all hope. Let us note how long it took Job to come out of the problems that came to bear heavily upon him. Did all his friends not admonish him to rebuke God and then die? However, because he knew his God in whom he had entrusted his being and everything he had, he kept praying to God. In the end, he had it manifold everything that he had lost.

Did God’s promise to Sarah to have a baby even when she was old and far beyond menopausal age, which she herself doubted, not come to pass for her to give birth to Isaac? While Sarah was waiting and thought God’s promise to her would never happen from the human point of view, she encouraged Abraham, her husband, to go in for Hagar, her young maid, to possibly bear children with her to inherit him on his death. Though little and doubtful her faith was, she indeed gave birth to Isaac at the time that Abraham had given birth to Ismael by Hagar. Read your bible for the details on this issue to understand how God’s promise to you will surely come to pass no matter the length of time it takes.

To those who have made themselves overlords with intent to obstruct the materialisation of God’s wishes in the lives of others, thinking they are law unto themselves and can make and break laws, I have the following recent practical examples for you as a warning.

There was every indication that God had ordained then Nana Akufo-Addo to come to liberate Ghanaians from their sufferance of corruption and blatant injustices under the hands of some leaders. Some people used all means possible to thwart God’s wish for him from coming to pass. A certain young man accused him of urinating beside a mosque, a sacred worshipping place of Allah, by the Muslims during his visit to the Northern region. It became a national political issue intended to cost him the votes of those of the northern extraction who happen to be mostly Muslims. In less than no time, this young man was understood to have developed kidney problem, could not urinate. He then came out to say he falsely accused Nana Addo all for political reasons. He begged for forgiveness from Nana Addo and God. Although he was pardoned, he died.

Another young lady in London, an NDC stalwart communicator, has died as I speak with her body in the morgue about two weeks ago. I shall withhold her name as a respect for the dead and for her family despite her constant personal attacks and insults on the person of Nana Addo both as an elected presidential-candidate and as a president. She never ceased lambasting not only his policies but his personality until her death a few weeks ago.

Does the bible not warn us against attacking the Lord’s anointed ones? Are there not price and consequences to pay when you deliberately attack the Lord’s anointed ones with the aim of obstructing the coming to pass of what God has planned through them? With the God’s anointed, I do not mean the current crop of Ghanaian pastors most of whom are crooks and money seekers by false pretences.

I know from reliable sources that God knew one John Kwasi Oduro, now Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua V, the accepted chief by about 95% of Kumawuman subjects, and anointed him to become Kumawuhene to liberate the people from their hardships when he was in a foetal stage in the womb of his mother. However, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, with Kumawuhemaa Nana Abenaa Serwaah Amponsah and their colluding Asanteman Council, have determined through all foul play not to let God’s plan for him to come to pass. They are using the police, the military, the politicians and some corrupt judges to influence favourable verdict in their favour contrary to the wish of God.

The patient God will not hesitate to deal with them as He has dealt with those who falsely accused and attacked Nana Addo. In the bible in 2 Kings 2:23–24, some little kids who taunted Elisha, and he cursed them, were mauled and eaten by two bears that came out of the woods.

If you play with the God’s anointed one, you will surely suffer regrettable consequences. This is a warning to the Asante Overlord Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and his traditional and political cohorts who think they can twist verdict in favour of Asantehene even though they know he is guilty and has no power to do what he is doing.

My earnest prayer to God is to let befall disaster on anyone who tries to manipulate the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute in favour of the guilty party despite the availability of facts and credible evidence to the contrary. Let them suffer the fate of those who falsely accused and teased Nana Addo or Prophet Elisha.

Some former sympathisers have lost hope because of how the case has dragged on since 2007 until today, 2019. Please, I invite you to come back to join those fighting for justice for Kumawuman despite how long it has taken. God only knows what He is doing and when the time is best to strike!

Lest I forget, no Asantehene has any right to intervene in Kumawu chieftaincy affairs to the point of roguishly imposing a royal candidate on us as Kumawu paramount chief (Omanhene) as Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is obstinately and unconventionally doing. I shall resist him until my dying days as God has purposed for me.

How I hope His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will not get involved to support his illegal attitudes in order not to incur the wrath of God. I know some of his corrupt politicians are working hand in hand with Asantehene to have his way in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute but let me be frank with them, they will fail for God is in control. If they doubt me, let them watch out that only time will tell no matter how long it takes.

Does this “Tell will tell” song by Jimmy Cliff tell them anything?
