Samson's Take: Lydia Forson knows her rights, you

Thanks to Samson Lardy Anyenini for this informative and empowering essay.

Fact of the matter is, no words, including those uttered by Ms. Forson in the video shown through a link on Ghanaweb, ever broke a bone. That is, except in the minds of autocrats and people who have no respect for women because they wrongly believe "tradition" trumps citizenship rights.

Looking back, the title of the article with the link to the video on Ghana was frankly more sensational than it ought to have been with employment of that action verb which we will not repeat here.

So, following up, it appears that the "Security Officer" is already known, and can be easily identified.

However, what is not clear to use is who his employer is.

If indeed it is the case that said "officer" touched the body, clothes, or property/video camera, of Ms. Forson, that is foundation for a case of assault, or attempted assault, at the minimum, against the "officer" (and his employer), criminal and civil.

'Nuff said on this one!
