"$250k school block not my birthday gift' - Hanna Tetteh fumes"

What is the disgraceful Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh fuming about? Did she ask the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana to help construct a school block in her constituency? Does it really matter whether it was given to the constituency as a present in her name? Journalists are supposed to repot the news and not create one and this is exactly what they did on this issue. Your propaganda people in your constituency tried to sing your hosannas and it turned out to be the wrong tunes.

She is angry on the wrong issue in my estimation. This story is not the creation of any Journalist as she wants the public to believe. What is the issue here? The issue is that, Ms Hannah Tetteh, the Foreign Minister is angry with some Journalists who reported that a building for a Junior High school in her constituency was constructed and financed by the Chinese Ambassador in Ghana and presented to the community as a birthday present from the Embassy in her name.

Ms Hannah Tetteh is not happy with the Journalists for calling this as a birthday present from the Chinese Ambassador and accused them for fabricating the birthday part of the story but if you listen to what the Chinese Ambassador said, what she Hannah Tetteh tried to imply and statements made to a radio station by the Constituency Youth Organizer from her constituency and the District Chief Executive of her constituency, you will come to the conclusion that Hannah Tetteh and her propaganda machine are trying to mop up a spill they didn't know smell really bad when they thought they were deodorizing the environment with this bad odour of a news.

How can Hannah Tetteh accuse Journalists for fabricating this news when the NDC appointed District Chief Executive of her constituency went to the Radio station and told the whole country that this building was a gift from the Chinese Ambassador to Hannah Tetteh to her constituency?

Where was Hannah Tetteh when her own constituency Youth Organizer told the whole world that this building is a gift from the China Ambassador to the district as a birthday present to Hannah Tetteh?

Did Hannah Tetteh has a wool in her ears when the Chinese Ambasasador said this during the hand over of the building to the constituency?



"According to the Ambassador, she built the school block as a birthday gift to the Member of Parliament for the area, Hanna Tetteh," a news item by an Accra-based Citi FM said"

If you even don't believe what was reported by this radio station concerning what the Ambassador said, just read what your disgraceful Foreign Minister Hannah Tetteh posted on her face book wall.



"Ms. Tetteh said she sought from the ambassador whether China could help in improving infrastructure in the constituency with grant funding, and that during the week of her birthday, the ambassador informed her that China could help in that regard.

"Subsequently during the week in which I celebrated my birthday she informed me that they would be in a position to construct and furnish a school in my Constituency, and thereafter in consultation with the District Chief Executive we selected the Awutu D. A. JHS "B" for construction," she stated in the post."

Why is Hannah Tetteh mentioning her birthday if she is not subtly trying to imply that this was a birthday gift to her? Where did the District Chief Executive get the idea that it was a birthday gift to Hannah Tetteh? This is a man Ms Hannah Tetteh has confided and consulted with during this project.

It was the Ndc Constituency Youth Organizer from his constituency and the DCE from that District who said the building was a birthday gift to Hannah Tetteh from China government. They said this on a radio station and the Journalists reported it so if Hannah Tetteh has a problem with that news then she should confront her constituency youth organizer and the DCE from her constituency for this propaganda that has come back to haunt her.

It is even disgraceful for a Foreign Minister of a country begging an Ambassador to construct a school building in her constituency and I thought this woman would be doing a damage control for this news coming out in view of the fact that, Ghanaians believe our country has been sold literally to China whose citizens are abusing our citizens and our laws by engaging in 'galamsey' that is polluting our environment and killing children who fall into these pits dug by the Chinese who fail to fill them up after their gold prospecting.

For a $250,000 a Foreign Minister becomes ineffective in dealing with a country that has no respect for our laws, then Ghana will very soon become a colonized colony by China. What a ridiculous and incompetent Foreign Minister. If not another incompetent President we have in this country, this woman would have lost her position as the Foreign Minister. Is this the same woman who has been funding some youth to agitate for her to become the Vice-Presidential Candidate on Ndc ticket? May God forbid.
