Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has remained atop of the ranking since our last update a month ago.

The CAF African Player of the Year finalist has netted 18 times in the Bundesliga this season, and is followed by Gonzalo Higuain in second spot. The former Los Blancos striker is in superb form in Serie A and has scored 16 goals for Napoli already.

Robert Lewandowski has somewhat slowed down a bit over the past few weeks, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted six goals in his past three matches.

Both sit in joint-third spot with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy on 15 goals. His Foxes teammate, Riyad Mahrez, is another African who has entered the top 10. The Algerian also netted six times in his past three games, taking his tally to 13 for the season so far.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, now sits on 12 strikes and is just outside the top 10.
