Ghanaian player Abdul Baba Rahman played arguably his best game in a Chelsea shirt during the UEFA Champions League games in midweek.

The former German Bundesliga player was handed a start by Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho after sitting out of their Premier League win against Norwich last weekend.

Baba Rahman in the game against the club he had his Chelsea debut against impressed with one of the finest performances since joining the London club in the summer transfer window.

Rahman’s brilliant attacking and defending skills on the night in Israel saw Jose Mourinho single out his cross for Oscar’s goal for special praise as the Black Stars defender finds his feet with the English Premier League Champions.

On Friday, the former Kotoko player trained with his Chelsea side hoping for a run when his Jose Mourinho and his team travel to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea has captain John Terry as a major doubt for the game. Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and Abdul Baba Rahman will be battling for a place in Chelsea’s back four.
