Adams Mahama Was Also Elected, Idiot!

Sophistry may be his stock-in-trade. Even so, the Idiot-of-Irmo, South Carolina, has proven time and again that he is not equal to the task in the classical sense of the term. Predictably, he has, once again, made an epic fool of himself. Then again, what can I really say? You just listen to his name; he is called the Idiot-of-Irmo, and he plays the part rather inimitably. Now he is telling us that it was “two northern tokens” who conspired to write a petition to cause the “unconstitutional removal” of the first northerner to be elected National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). So much for poppycock!

The last time around, the bloody medical-practice license salesman was haranguing the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for having unjustifiably entrenched Dr.-Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, another “northern token,” I suppose, in the Vice-Presidential slot of the New Patriotic Party, against the unspoken but widely accepted tradition of “joining the line.” But even as I clearly pointed out to this panjandrum of a popinjay, the Akan sages of old knew it best when they wittily observed that “There were adult-males already resident in the palace, when the future king was being delivered by his mother.”

But, of course, an idiot will always be an idiot; there is no cure for his disease save sequestration or, better yet, ostracism. At this juncture, nothing needs to be done to and/or about the Idiot-of-Irmo. The incurable reprobate has already driven himself deep down a ravine from where he can only provide Ghanaians with free comedy from time to time. Well, the treasure-hunting-Kennedy-wannabe would like to fool us into believing that as National Chairman of the NPP, Mr. McManu, the “white-listed” candidate who soundly defeated President Kufuor’s candidate of choice, Mr. Ntim, was in the same mold as the recently indefinitely suspended Chairman Paul Afoko. Well, the Idiot is entitled to his own godforsaken opinions. But, of course, as Americans are wont to say, he is not entitled to his own facts, which is that there is absolutely no record indicating that Mr. McManu conspired with any sibling to savagely liquidate his inveterate political opponent, and then cavalierly hopped on the airwaves copping an alibi for his criminal relative.

This is where the line must be drawn. In other words, we have a bounden obligation to challenge the Idiot-of-Irmo blow-for-blow every step of the way. We shall also deal with his lock-step buddy, Dr. McNasty whom, ironically, I personally admire on some level for quite different reasons. Still, desecrating the names and memories of Drs. Danquah and Busia and Mr. Dombo in order to push a deviously calculated agenda of ruination will not cut it. I have also observed in a previous column that Mr. Freddie Blay, the Acting National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has a Danquah-Busia-Dombo pedigree that the Idiot-of-Irmo can only at best ogle and sulk at with raw envy and jealousy. What chutzpah for this sometime Rawlings Trucker to presume to better appreciate the Danquah-Busia-Dombo Tradition than those of us who were with these heroic champions of freedom and justice right from the beginning!

I suppose the Idiot-of-Irmo is alluding to the Akyem/Kyebi Mafia, when he rather farcically snaps that “A unity fostered by intimidation and fear will never lead to victory.” Maybe not. But how about a politics based on the acid-dousing contract assassination of one’s internal ideological opponents? The Idiot has just advised Mr. Afoko to fiercely challenge the unanimous decision of the NPP-National Executive Committee (NEC) in court. We hope he has wired the Adams Mahama nemesis wads of dollars for the same.
