1. There is no title as Kumasihene. Kumasi have four paramount chiefs- Bantama, Asafo, Akyempim and Adonten.
2. Asantehene is not Kumasihene. He is the president of Kumasi Traditional Council and Asanteman Council. He is also the president
of the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs.
2. The position of Asantehene in not a paramouncy. The position is recognized by our
Laws and the Chieftaincy Act. It is not therefore ceremonial.
3. The Kumawuhene is not alleged. He is gazzetted chief and a member of the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs. His position is recognized by our Laws and the Chieftaincy Act.
4. Chiefs are custodians of our cultural heritage. They are partners of development and not development agencies of governments.

Please research your incorrect statement that the 'Asantehene' is not the 'Kumasehene'. Nana Osei Tutu (1), was the first Asantehene, enstooled in 1701, prior to this he was solely the 'Kumasehene'. In addition to this fact when Nana Agyemang Prempeh (1), was allowed by the British Colonial Authorities to return to the Gold Coast, he was not officially recognised as the 'Asantehene', however, he was recognised as the 'Kuamsehene' by the British Government. The title of the 'Asantehene' was officially restored after the death of Nana Agyemang Prempeh (1), when his nephew & successor, Nana Agyemang Prempeh (11), occupied the 'Golden Stool'. These are historical facts of Ashanti history, that cannot be re-written. The 'Asantehene is the Kumasehene (Paramount Chief of Kumasi).
