S.K. Boafo's assertion was hyperbolic at best. I was at K-Poly when Nana arrived. Their assembly hall was packed to capacity with the atmosphere supercharged as Nana arrived. Same could be said of many places where Nana did brief stop overs. Mr. Boafo's statement while intended to create a sense of urgency had our opponents excited.

Mr S.K.Boafo's concern may well not be justified by statistics, but it should be taken seriously. I don't think Mr Boafo was trying to paint a poor picture of Nana Akufo-Addo's campaign trail in Kumasi.

I think Mr Boafo's concern reflect recent general Ghanaian apathy towards political activism and engagements of all political parties.

If one has to be President of Ghana before meaningful contribution and constructive solutions can be expected, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe, then you should explain what Nana Akufo-Addo and members of parliament have been doing over the years? How could Nana tout his service at Ghana's AG office or at the ministry of external affairs during the Kufour regime if we should expect no added value from him or those who toil in civil service offices?
Nana Akufo-Addo will not be completed because he became Ghana's president for a period, even if but for a brief period, unless he has ideas, ideals, foresight and he is principled. No one remember a Busia era but for the delusional Busia-Danquah ideologues who needed his failed government administration as a notch in the belt for the Danquah-Busia/UGCC/matemeho zealots. What is it that Nana Akufo-Addo brings to the Ghana political table or platform not seen by anyone in Ghana in his 20+ years of civil service aND a record to boot? Nana is a good man as most men are in Ghana but politics and the struggle to wrestle power from another average sitting president cannot be achieved on a rather unimpressive and uninspired resume; no not the one carried and on display by Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
Nana Akufo-Addo may win the 2016 or 2020 election in Ghana but not because of a convincing record. A teacher who has seen a number of students pass through his or her class but has had no impact on the lives on any of the students and or could not get any former student to acknowledge his or her contributions in their times is a teacher that was in for money and not a profession; no the teacher does not have to steal or mismanage but they are a drag on the teaching profession all the same. There's no one yet to toot the Akufo-Addo horn but tribal zealots and NPP bootlickers and that will not do Dr. Kwame.
