I think there should be no resistance to any Ghanaian claim to copyright the word.
It's a merger of 2 Ghanaian words from some of our akan dialects so what's the issue here?
Nigeria can never claim copyrights infringement to the "dumsor" word.
It's NOT the phenomenon but the word and the "dumsor" word is as Ghanaian as our Ghanaian names.
Nigerians I think have their own name for the phenomenon. They can copyright that name if they want.
