Papa Appiah, you made a very good point about Nana Akuffo Addo regarding his failure to build a workable friendship with Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong earlier when he was voted to be the Npp Presidential candidate in 2016, it was an opportunity lost.
Your suggestion that he should have toured the regions with Afoko and Agyapong after Adams Mahama murder though would have caused more problems by infuriating a lot of Mpp supporters because of Afoko brother involvement in the murder of Adams Mahama.
Npp though should find a way of uniting the party without throwing the Chairman and the General Secretary out.

Dr Apraku, Arthur Kennedy and others were kept closer to Akuffo Addo, but ask yourself what he got in return? He has avowed enemies and he should stop treating them with kid gloves. Ghanaians will make the right choice when the dust settles and the truth comes out that people in leadership have been sabotaging him. It is okay iif you refuse to vote for him because of Afoko and Agyepong

Papa, i do agree with you but it is not easy to handle this issue single-headedly. The Afoko and Agyapong weren't selected or appointed by Nana alone. The NPP have structures and most likely, Disciplinary C'ttee and then the NEC. It this D.C'ttee that should make a recommendation to the NEC and Nana who in turn would make a final decision on the issue at stake. Despite him being the Flagbearer he has no powers to handle the matter alone. It must be all the various Executives so let's not jump into any hasty decision and blame pointing at this stage. What if the whole party says the 2 must go and Nana says No. After it is all about fellowship and if the whole people say we won't follow you, Nana would be leaderless. I see the problem he is facing and we must all show some emphathy for the man. On this note I disagree that Nana is The heart of NPP's demise.

I am at a loss with some of your thoughts, are we talking about electing someone to lead a party to rule Ghana or we just want to elect someone as a gift because he must rule? Are you people not mindful of the fact that a divided party cannot rule a country? Why are we so fixated about Nana ruling Ghana at all cost? If it is the NPP, it can be understood that the party has human resourses to rule not just be so fixated about one individual.

You contributed 200$ to PPP. How much did you contribute to NDC or NPP or CPP? That's what a floating voter would do.
I've read all the articles you contributed to ghanaweb including the ones appearing under Sports and the ones on music and made often positive comments on many of them under my various monikers. THAT IS WHY I KNOW YOURE NOT A FLOATING VOTER.
You can be anything you like but do not try to tell the reader that you're something you're not. Some of us will find that out. That is the only thing which marred your piece apart from your stubborn insistence on spelling the names of Akufo-Addo and Kufuor the way you (but not them) want. And you're not even consistent with your wrong spellings of those names.
Not one of your better articles!

Has the flagbeare got the mandate to do all these? Or its the Chairman of the party who calls meetings?. If it is the Chairman, herein lies the dilemma. He wont call the meeting and the Flagbearer is dis enabled?

Akufo-Addo lacks the skill sets to bring the warring factions in the NPP together. His scorched earth policy of completely getting rid of an elected executive of the party 18 months prior to a general election shows that his arrogance has driven him from reality. He is currently in self-destruction mode and there is no way the NPP can win come 2016 because it cannot appeal to the floating voters with the schism and current upheaval in the party.

Akufo Addo desires the presidency at all costs and by all means. If his personal ambitions dismantles the NPP or not,is fair game to him. Ghanaians may not be enamoured to the NDC right now, but Akufo Addo is not their preferred alternative. In fact, the NDC will win by default if Akufo Addo fails to relinquish his grip on the NPP leadership. It's now or never. The writing is on the wall.
