Ghana is for Ghanaians and not for some greedy politicians

The joy of living involves having an article which you can pinpoint to have possession over. The element of possession is hence an important principle which controls our daily life, thought and movement. We live life so that one day or now we can point at any article, artifact or an artifact of faith and say without feeling ashamed "This is mine."

It is easy to point to South Africa and say that the rise in Xenophobia is completely unfounded, unwarranted and if I am permitted to say, "stupid". But with the premise which I set, the element of possession is what is driving South Africa to express the xenophobia in them.

I am by no way trying to justify the unfortunate act of the South Africa but I believe that this could have been avoided. And in an anthem or a creed I saw on social media "South Africa is for South Africans and not for the rest of Africa". Indeed, this is a bold declaration: For that country is a possession, a South African can pinpoint and call mine. But should it lead to incessant killing of blacks especially by a country which we all know has had in the time past and present being controlled by whites?

The point of the matter is that no matter the histories and past of South Africa, all what they have is their identity and resources so if a country feels that their land or business have been taken by foreigners what do they do? Certainly not by violence.

The thing is this; if individual African economies to develop would other people go to South Africa to suffer this madness? It is high time that other African countries especially Ghana realize that the principle we live in this world is "Everyone for himself, God for us all." So we should tell our government currently that this dumsor craziness should stop,this corruption must cease, this "sikade3 basa basa" should stop.

We can no longer travel outside in the quest of seeking greener pastures and still have a firm conviction that we can be safe in those countries; home is where paradise is and if we cannot make our home a paradise, we will always be at the mercies of Xenophobic craziness.

This advice equally goes for all African countries; we cannot rely on the west or east for support. We must stop these ridiculous politicians who have turned our wits and caused tears in our eyes. We will try to condemn what South Africans are doing but the point still remains is that "South Africa belongs to South Africans and not for the rest of Africa; it is theirs. The rest of Africa must develop their own! After all, Ghana is mine because I am a Ghanaian
