Do not confuse the public, before the arrival of Adomako Pim and his family from Adanse with their fetish Tano, there existed Apemso with Nana Kofi Siaw as chief. Apemso township was at Baakamfo. The originator of Apemso was Nana Akyea Kwaffo, whom Nana Kofi Siaw succeeded as Apemsohene.
Apemso expanded greatly during the reign of Nana Kofi Siaw. The first set of immigrants to be welcomed by Nana Kofi Siaw was Adomako Pim and his family. They had escaped the wrath of Adansehene Nana Abu Bonsra for their failure to carry the fetish Tano to a battle which the Adanse's lost miserably. The fetish Tano belonged to the Adanse's and Adomako Pim's family were the custodians. Nana Abu Bonsra was enraged and decided to eradicate the entire Adomako Pim family and appoint another family as custodians of the fetish Tano.
Adomako Pim and his family got wind of the plot and escaped with part of the fetish Tano to Apemso and sought protection from Nana Kofi Siaw, Apemsohene. Nana Siaw settled them at DADIEASE and they built a shrine for the fetish Tano on the Kumawu - Papiase road, where the African Faith, "GYEDIFO)" has settled.
Adomako Pim originated from a woman called Abu, who was married to a man called Amo Yaw. They were blessed with four (4) children, 3 males and a female :
(1) Obiri Yeboah
(2) Abora-a-Oso ne man
(3) Abora Kuma
(4) Gyamfuaa, alias Aberewa Musa
Gyamfuaa (Aberewa Muas) gave birth to a boy and a girl called :
(1) Adomako Pim, and
(2)Kwartemaa Nkonko
Kwartemaa Nkonko gave birth to Abena Duffie. Abena Duffie also gave birth to Opanin Kodua and Akua Foriwaa, aka Akua Donkor.
Akua Foriwaa (Akua Donkor) also gave birth to Adwoa Taah and Madam Baaboaah.
Adomako Pim arrived at Apemso as aprivate man, meaning he did not arrive with a blackened stool. He was humble and dedicated himself to Nana Kofi Siaw. Nana Siaw used to call him to sit in to settle disputes brought before him. Adomako Pim had a white stool called ASESEDWA which he used when called by Apemsohene Nana Kofi Siaw.
Nana Kofi Siaw later appointed Adomako Pim as Kontihene of Apemso. Upon Nana Adomako Pim's demise, the white stool was blackened to signify as the authentication of the stool / title to the family.
This is the history of The Adomako PIm's. After the Adomako Pim's arrived The Akwamuhene and his family. They arrived with their blackened stool from Akwamu. Instead of going to settle at a place called Nyanaw, near Nsawam, to occupy the land after being captured by Asantehene, they diverted for fear that it was too distant and could make them vulnerable for revenge.
After the Akwamu's arrived Adofoahyee and his folks from Asumja. Adofoahyee lost the bid to occupy the throne of Asumja to his cousin, becamr enraged and decided to leave"home". These are the Ananangya/Odumase folks who later staged a coup d'tat to topple The Apemso administration to crown themselves as rulers of Apemso. It was bloody and barbaric, so much that their action incurred the wrath of the departed spirits and oracles of the land. They brought to mind that "YENTENA OBI SERE SO NNSUM NO", meaning, you don't push the person whose lap/thighs you sit. The Ananangya/Odumase folks bacamed accursed of untimely deaths and other mishaps such as "madness" The untimely deaths continued until Adofoahyee pleaded with the oracles. To avert that, the oracles demanded of Adofoahyee to sacrifice one of his family members yearly to appease the gods. This continued until the arrival of The Whiteman and his rule which abolished human sacrifices. The oracles and spirits demanded a red bull as a substitute, for after all, the humans were spiritually turned into bulls when being sacrificed.
In his quest to end this calamity after consultations with oracles and deities, Nana Kodua Kokoo brought in family member who was married away during their sojourn from Asumja. Her name was Madam Ayo, her lineage are the Ankaase royals. Peace and Stability returned after a descendant of Ayo ascended the stool. All major developments in Kumawuman happened under the ANKAASE ROYALS.
From this royalty we now have BARIMA SARFO TWENEBOA KODUAH. BARIMA DI WO HENE. KUMAWUMAN NKWASO!!!

It rather brings to mind what PAPA, meaning, GOODNESS from Apemso royals was rewarded with evil; the occupant of the stool is given three strokes of the cane in public as a sign of "humiliation".
It will interest readers to know that the stools does not pass by Yaadwaase without first The Omanhene sending for permission with drink, with which the occupant of Yaadwaase stool pour libation for smooth passage.
The Omanhene cannot beat the gong-gong "ODAWURO" at Yaadwaase, meaning the Town crier cannot beat odawuro at Yaadwaase. The Omanhene has to send his linguist to either the Abusuapanin, The Occupant of the stool or The Obaapanin of Yadwaase to deliver the message.
The Yaadwaase family still maintain their royal cemetry at their outskirts called ATAASUM.
No uprising to destool Kumawuhene has been successful without the approval and support of Yaadwaasehene.
More than 90% of the land stretching from Apopoa through Baakamfo and beyond the river Owam called OWAM AGYA belong to Yaadwaasefo) affectionately refered to as BAAKAMFO SIAW NANANOM, SIAW ODIAWUO NANANOM.
The royal cemetry of this family when the township was at Baakamfo is still kept sacred at a site within the compounds of Tweneboa Kodua Sec School. It has exclusivity from the alloted land to the school.
No construction or development on the land has been successful without first the permission of the family. Joe Fry will testify to this when they had the shock of their lives when a concrete mixer machine started shaking and sinking in front of them at broad daylight at TKSS.
