'Tractor Ayariga' "Sika Die Basa, Basa"

Is there a curse at the Ministry of Youth and Sports anybody appointed to that Ministry from this Ndc Administration has turned out to be either arrogant or stupid? We have had Muntaka, Humado, Akua Densuah, Afriyie Ankrah and now Tractor Ayariga non of them who have exemplified himself. When you thought the Brazil episode has taught us a lesson and we have learned from it, here comes Afcon 2015 which might turn out to be worse than the World Cup in Brazil if not in terms of corruption, at least in terms of stupidity.

The Ministry of Sports and GFA usually tell Ghanaians how much we are going to spend on every tournament before the games begin but for strange reasons, 'Tractor' Ayariga dictatorially decided he will not tell Ghanaians how much we are going to spend at the 2015 AFCON Tournament.

We have gone to this tournament, performed beyond the expectation of many Ghanaians who did not think this Blacksatrs team has the crop of Players to break the 33 years jinx of drought African cup. We almost succeeded in ending that jinx if not for a bad decision of allowing Afriyie Acquah and Frank Acheampong to take penalty numbers three and four when you have your best penalty kickers Dede Ayew and Agyemanh Badu available, sorry for digressing from the main issue here.

Now we are back from Equitorial Guinea and Ghanaians are demanding to know how much of their tax cedis have been used on this tournament and Tractor Ayariga has the gall to tell us this;

"The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga says he does not owe the media any explanation on how much was spent at the just-ended Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea. "I will put out a report but not to you (host)...I don't report to you, I report to the auditor General, to parliament and when I do, you'll get the information through those sources."

"If I decide to grant you an interview as a minister, I expect you to ask me useful questions...you want to take over the job of the Auditor? Are you the Auditor?"

How can anybody ask you useful questions when you have been acting like Fool?

This is what I will call disrespecting people whose taxes pay for your comfortable lifestyle as a Minister and you have the audacity to talk down to them. I listened to this Tractor Rental Thief turned Minister of Sports on Afua Pokuah's BURNING ISSUES program on Adom FM on Feb.11 and I almost puked with the venom and disrespect this Ayariga vomited on that program. How can this man even tell Ghanaians that he spent less on this Afcon game than any Afcon that has taken place when he knew perfectly well that he was lying? When this government has been hiding some expenses on this Afcon on the books of GNPC.

Initially, Tractor Ayariga told us he didn't know who sent the NDC Foot soldiers as Blackstars supporters to Equitorial Guinea when it has even come out these supporters passports were sent to Chief of Staff, Prosper Bani's office for processing. It is becoming clearly clear that the government has been using GNPC as a front to do its corrupt activities. How can Tractor Ayariga say that government has no hand in sending supporters to Equatorial Guinea when GNPC is a 100 percent government owned entity? Are you Ayariga, Tractor Ayariga telling Ghanaians that somebody, more likely that Betty Mould little brother at GNPC Alex Mould decided to use $6 million of Taxpayers money to airlift supporters, about another $750,000 to give to Blackstars 23 man squad and about 7 team Officials without President Mahama's knowledge? What kind of banana republic government do we have in Ghana? How can you as a Minister of Sports tell us the government has no idea which individual or company airlifted some Black Stars supporters from Ghana to Equatorial Guinea for the just ended African Cup of Nations (AFCON) when their passports were processed at the Chief of Staff Office? You take Ghanaians for fools or else you would not have had that cojones to tell us that lie.

At this time in Ghana when businesses are collapsing, school children can't even study because of "DUMSOR DUMSOR", you spent $6 million Ghana government money hidden in the books of GNPC to airlift supporters to Equitorial Guinea and you expect Journalists to ask you what you term useful questions?

The Minister of Sports, Mr Mahama Ayaraiga, has stated that President John Mahama did not have prior knowledge that the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) had agreed to give each member of the Black Stars $25,000.The Minister said: "Let me tell you...to be frank with you, the government... in fact the President [John Mahama] didn't even know that GNPC was giving the players any money until when he was speaking and I gave him [the President] a note.It was only then that he knew that GNPC was giving that bonus to the players. He didn't even know. It was there in the hall that I informed him...he asked how much and I mentioned it to him..."

If Mahama was not aware about it until he was about to give that speech when you slipped him that message, then you ambushed the President who without proper exercise of his brains went ahead and announce it without proper consultation with his Advisors if he should be the one to tell Ghanaians. If GNPC which you thieves have been using as corrupt cash cow is an independent entity without the control of its activities by this useless government, why is it the government to announce its gift to the Players?

This administration needs to be booted out for a thorough investigation into its corrupt activities at GNPC, SADA. SUBA, GYEEDA etc to take place.

Mahama Ayariga has the audacity to tell Ghanaians that this AFCON that cost Ghanaian Taxpayers over $8 million is the least costly Afcon for Ghana. Why not, these stupid thieves at the helm of affairs are using GNPC to foot some of the cost which they have "corruptly" deleted from government cost.

If Tractor Ayariga is thinking this issue is going to go away anytime soon, then he is not as intelligent as he think he is.

He might have been lulled to believe he can ride this one out the same way he did when he used his political connections to get five government tractors brought to Ghana by the Kufuor administration for farmers which he Ayariga is not.

Haba, Ghanaians have had enough of this administration stealing acrobatics and it is time the proletariats do something and correct the thinking of these thieves parading as Politicians.
