Hang On: What is NPP Nana Ohene Ntow Saying?

Would Nana Ohene Ntow, former NPP General Secretary and currently the Spokesperson for NPP flagbearer-aspirant Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng , clarify certain statements he recently made in Accra?

At the second phase launching of Kwadwo Alan Kyeremateng, a.k.a. Alan Cash’s campaign to contest the 18 October 2014 NPP Congressional election to become the flagbearer of the party, Nana Ohene Ntow made certain questionable statements. He invited the NDC members, NDC sympathisers and activists to join hands with him to ensure victory for his master, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, come 18 October 2014. Again, he said there will be no more violence in NPP should Alan be elected the flagbearer of the party.

I am really confused at this stage about the basis informing the intention of the apparently self-confused role Ohene Ntow played and is resolutely determined to play. Are NDC members allowed to vote in NPP internal elections? NO! Why is Ohene Ntow then inviting them to rally behind Alan Cash to guarantee him victory on 18 October 2014?

Furthermore, why is Ohene Ntow saying there will be no more violence in NPP when Alan Cash is elected the NPP flagbearer in October 2014? How can Alan’s personality simply ward off people inhered with violence from the party if there are actually any?

Until Ohene Ntow comes back with better explanation to rid the minds of people of any doubts following his assertions, I would like to state my personal views to him well in advance.

He is of dubious character; resolved to see NPP in opposition before, during and after Election 2016, if Nana Akufo Adofo emerged the victor in the NPP flagbearership contest scheduled for 18 October 2014. He and other likeminded devil incarnates within the party, are seriously working around the clock to prove their silly point of, “did we not tell you that Nana Akufo Addo is not a winnable candidate in presidential elections”, after they themselves have worked in collusion with the NDC to bring about his defeat?

Are not Alan’s supporters in the NPP causing violence in the party, but turn around to blame it on Nana Addo and his supporters? If not so, why is Ohene Ntow asserting that if Alan won the election, the violence will stop? Who is this lowlife trying to fool? Does he think he can play on the intelligence of discerning Ghanaians forever without being caught out, deeply involved in his tricks? He had better cease playing mind games.

Find below the entire reproduction of a publication on Ghanaweb attributed to Nana Ohene Ntow in his mischievous invitation to NDC and his accusation of violence against Nana Akufo Addo, the biblical David or Joseph of our time.

“General News of Sunday, 14 September 2014 Source: peacefmonline.com NDC should join Alan's campaign - Nana Ohene Ntow, former NPP General Secretary and Spokesperson for Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, says the doors of their campaign are open to all including members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), if they want to rally behind his candidate.

Addressing a gathering during the campaign launch of Alan Kyeremateng, Nana Ohene Ntow welcomed members of the ruling party, saying should they nurse interest to join forces with his candidate for victory come October, then they are welcome.

Delivering a speech on behalf of Mr. Kyeremateng, Nana Ohene Ntow described Mr. Alan Kyeremateng, popularly called "Alan Cash" as the "second gentle Giant" in the NPP.

According to him, with Alan Kyeremateng as flagbearer of the NPP, there will be no more violence in the party. He said Mr. Alan Kyeremateng's personality will ward off any person with the proclivity for violence. He urged the delegates to vote for his candidate in order to maintain peace in the NPP”
