This writer unfortunately does not understand the workings of democracy. If he really does,he will not rave and rant about the NPP going to court to get an electoral dispute resolved by the highest court in the land, through constitutional means.Does he know what would have happened,if the NPP had resorted to mass civil disobedience in seeking recourse?

Fiifi, The NPP did not have the option of resorting to mass civil disobedience in seeking recourse. That fact is make very clear in the article. They did not have that choice and so could not do it. Simple.

Akufo-Addo only went to court because he thought that the Kufour appointees in the Supreme Court would make him President. Now he knows otherwise.

First, i was baffled when i saw an Economist, Bawumia in the witness box at the petition hearing whiles the so-called hyped legal luminary Nana who was supposed to take the stand and showcase his skills to the world went into hidding and later surfaced in London, UK for medical check up. This is MISPLACED PRIORITY/Square Pegs in Round Holes.
Second NPP went to court not on the basis of facts and evidence but largely using emotions and fear to win favour from friends in the Judiciary who may be sympathetic towards their party. Apart from that their main aim is to make the Country ungovernable and keep Nana relevant in the party till 2016. And it's exactly what we seeing now. Thank you.
