You Do It, We Expose It...

This Clement Apaak guy is a very funny Domestic Santa Claus, sneeringly and cynically accusing Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey for promoting political corruption, because the latter has dared to call a spade by its real, non-technical name, that is, as the veritable brainchild of the key operatives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). I guess Mahama lackeys like Dr. Apaak would rather have the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) call a spade a "Sanitary Pooper-Scooper." This way, the Mahama gofer figures, this most fetid and execrable political scam-artistry is apt to retain some veneer of respectability in the flighty and clinically warped imagination of these shameless vote-buying prostitutes and giggolos (See "Apaak Asks: Can We Trust NPP to Fight Corruption?" Peacefmonline.com/ Ghanaweb.com 1/26/14).

Of course, I am herein alluding to the flagrantly hypocritical field-day lambasting of Mr. Obetsebi-Lamptey's all-too-pragmatic call to his party's movers-and-shakers to leave no stone unturned, as it were, by matching the Mahama-led NDC boot-for-boot in the 2016 epic battle for the minds and hearts of Ghanaian voters. Call it "Laptopism." That is what the NDC and its unconscionable hacks and hirelings do best. They practice "off-the-books" corruption while pontifically preaching "Holy Cow Milk."

Incidentally, I have before me, a printout news story dated November 12, 2013 and captioned "Presidential Staffer Apaak Attacked By Armed Robbers," in which the notorious Mahama media attack dog claims to have handed over an amount of GHC 7,350 (seven-thousand, three-hundred and fifty Ghanaian cedis) to some suited burglars and bandits who paid his Ashaleybotwe residence a courtesy call in the dawn of November 8, 2013, or thereabouts. Dr. Apaak claims that this humongous sum of dough was meant for a "special project." Exactly what special project he was referring to, the man is as mum as an ancient Egyptian mummy.

Maybe before he begins wondering aloud whether the key operatives of the main opposition New Patriotic Party are capable of fighting rank corruption in God's own country, the Mahama minion had better inform Ghanaian voters exactly how he came by such a whopping amount of money; and, even more significantly, why was such purported huge project-earmarked money sitting in his house, instead of being deposited in the bank until such time as needed?

I suppose it is safe to say that the source of his GHC 7,350 is one of the nettlesome questions worth probing by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) that Dr. Apaak is alluding to, when he cynically observes that Mr. Obetsebi-Lamptey "has raised very fundamental questions that we have to probe."
