thank so much bro, I have had argument many times with my friends that Ghana cannot move forward until we change our attitudes. in Ghana, we blame the government for everything meanwhile, we are not as an individual wants to do the right thing. I told my friends, if we are good as an individual, the government will definitely be good, because the government is not coming from somewhere, but among us. a leader is good, if people surrounding him/her are good. America is good because its people are good. the fact that Ghana is not good as a country means its people are not good

I was happy to see a reference made to Ghana Health Service about two doctors at effia nkwanta hospital victimized by the Ghana Health Service on a different platform.I know the duo were victimized for their uprightness in a hospital noted for massive corruption and indiscipline. This is a hospital always in the media for the wrong reasons.
The dubious and shameful suspension of the two doctors is the price you pay when you insist on the right thing. For the country to move forward,a change in attitude must start with responsible leadership with strong morals and integrity in our public institutions particularly.

Good article! But where do we go from here? When you live in a system like that you hardly notice anything wrong because that is what you are used to and grew up in. It is funny and interesting when you go abroad like you have and go back to ghana then you really start to see the wrongs and bad things happening. So like i said where do we go from here? We go to the people there, awaken the people who have never been abroad.. who never thought about this, who thought about this but could not influence or didnt want to do any change.I think we need to start to think how do we get this message through to the people of Ghana. Interesting article and i hope it will opens minds and eyes.

Excellent Mr. Akoetey, content but not containers; the most painful aspect is that this our leaders will see this and will never show remorse or even take a break to change. In all, our change depends on us been that we vote based on the content. Francis how would this get to our poor people "illiterates" because they are in majority. For my view we should heal the wound in poor education first and then investing more in science and technology. Education is the key to national development. Wake up Ghana.
