Kwesi Appiah is being ‘LAZY’

Coach of the senior national soccer team of Ghana (Black Stars) Kwesi Appiah is being lazy in his approach to the all-important last gasp World Cup qualifying match between the Black Stars of Ghana versus the Pharoahs of Egypt.

Just after the pairings for the last matches was done suggestions about some ghost names have abruptly surfaced such as former Captain, John Mensah, and one time safest pair of hands, Richard Frank Paul Kingston, www.sportsmafiagh.net can confirm.

From our cables, Kwesi Appiah has been touring most of our local league centres from Adam with the aim of fishing for talents to feeding the Black Stars but with the current situation one would wonder how the Ghanaian has been doing his local scouting.

From the lenses of www.sportmafiagh.net, one position which is abound locally is goalkeeping for crying out loud. A talent like Foli Adade is being left to waste because his crime is keeping post for a local Ebusua Dwarfs.

It’s an undeniable fact that this young talented goalie was the best goalkeeper in the just ended Ghana Premier League but for some strange reasons this chap was left to frozen on the bench in Ghana’s last friendly game against Japan for a certain Braimah who plays a Secunda B Division in Spain to keep the Black Stars post for more than 90 minutes.

Least I forget Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Isaac Amoako was some few years ago a national asset under the watch of an expatriate coach but like Adade, Amoako was left to rotten at a certain stage in his career.

The question now is, who is Kwesi Appiah and the FA deceiving? The FA always criticize the Ghanaian media for not promoting the local league yet the coach has the impetus to always leave the local players only to chasing for the European ‘burgers’ to wear the national jersey. Some Ghanaian players call themselves Neymar but at least one thing is certain, if Neymar was a Ghanaian he wouldn’t have featured for the Black Stars until his transfer to Barcelona.

Again, Kwesi Appiah have all of a sudden realized that Michael Essien is the sort that every coach under this planet would love to have in his starting set up but the adopted father (Mourinho) of Essien did not add his son’s name to his Champions League squad. Essien is a phenomenon but Kwesi Appiah should realize that in his absence other players took the nation at heart and such comment diminishes their confidence and morale.

As if this is not enough, John Mensah is also being considered to come solve our central defensive problem. As Kwesi Appiah keeps wandering about his provisional squad against Egypt, his opponent have already begun preparations towards the match.

At least www.sportsmafiagh.net can boldly confirm that Claud Le Roy had names of players written in a blue ink, red ink as well as in pencils. We can also say that this same coach spotted the likes of Kwadwo Asamoah, Dede Ayew, Harrison Afful, Anthony Annan, Samuel Nkoom and some few others.

Kwesi Appiah should know that at this stage, it’s him against the World so he needs to be extra cautious about his choice of selection and not to allow himself to be used by certain individuals to achieve their whims and caprices.
