NPP Leadership has pushed Ghana to the verge of civil war

.

The activity of the NPP and their cohorts in the press, including their violent and criminal youth wing, “The Young Patriots” has pushed Ghana extreme violence.

Since the beginning of the year, the events have taken a violent turn in which all the major markets in the country are being burnt down by NPP youth wing operatives. Many properties destroyed of which nobody in the country has any true count. Some estimated the true value of properties destroyed to be over a billion dollars.

Since 2000 when NPP won political power, the events in the country have taken a violent turn in which killings; carjacking, armed robberies, arson and narcotic dealing have become common. Before the 2000 elections, over 100 persons, majority were women and school girls were killed by “unidentified assailants”. As soon as NPP were declared winners of the 2000 elections, miraculously the killing stopped! Now they have resort to burning markets and government buildings in the country.

There is pattern to the violent nature of Danquah/Busia/Dombo group. They were the group to engage in “terrorism” in sub-Saharan African. Joseph Boakye Danquah is perhaps the first known terrorist in Africa. Danquah tried on about 3 occasions to assassinate Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the founder and father of modern Ghana.

The violence has spread beyond the regional capitals, where, the NPP youth wing fundamentalist hoodlums’ target government buildings and other properties, including markets. Arson and lootings is rampant. It is gruesomely clear that the NPP leadership has lost control of their violent youth wing (The Young Patriots).

The violence is linked to the 2012 Presidential elections which NPP were declared the losers. The African Union, Ecowas, Carter Foundation, The United Nations, The European Union and the Latin American Countries all certified the election results as free and fair and thus support the declaration of John Dramani Mahama as duly elected the President of the Republic of Ghana by Dr Afari Djan, the Electoral Commission.

Still not satisfied with the results, NPP embarked on fruitless judicial petition, hoping that the corrupt and NPP aligned justices put in place by the Kuffour would negate the results and install the opposition leader, Nana Akuffo Addo, a man known for his bad temper – patapaa. Before the 2012 elections, Nana Akuffo Addo and his finance team contacted a number of leading investment banks with the notion of using Ghana’s oil from Jubilee Field as collateral to raise money. Thank God, Ghanaians saw the evil intent of these NPP criminals and voted for the decent and God fearing John Mahama. Ghanaians stopped the NPP criminal gang from “playing CHA CHA” with Ghana’s oil.

The criminal elements linked to the NPP Youth Wing (The Young Patriots) is widely believed to have committed crimes against humanity (Killings of women before 2000 elections and burning of markets and government buildings after 2012 elections), resisting the 2012 Presidential election results and understandably has no wide support within the 8 regions of Ghana. They only won 2 regions – Ashanti and Eastern Regions (Their only strong holds). The atrocious nature of violence committed by NPP operatives, unknown in the country prior to 2000 is very worrying and can tip the country into civil war. Due to the criminal activities of NPP operatives, the county today has slipped further into abyss where the NPP together with their cohorts at the courts wants to render the notion of rule of war non-existence. It is Ghana’s tragedy an institution created by the late founder and father of the country, Dr Kwame Nkrumah of blessed memory, to deal with cases honestly, is being used by the NPP leadership to push the country to the verge of civil war.

Almost every organisation in Ghana are alleging that NPP leadership is pushing the country towards a civil war-like situation by unleashing violence through its youth wing (The NPP Young Patriots – burning of government buildings and markets). They are creating a civil war like situation through various hoodwinks to hush its failures (2000 to 2008) and massive looting of state resources. Many in the country criticised late President Atta Mills for not arresting the entire NPP leadership for crimes against the people of Ghana, including looting of state resources.

The country is passing through a critical time, NPP leadership triggers violence and puts the blame on the government for that.
