Criminals Cannot Be Arrested On Public Holidays

- NDC Ato Dadzie

Ghana is fastly sinking to the abyss of stupidity when you listen to our so called leaders so close to the corridors of power and their interpretation of events. Nana Ato Dadzie, a hellion so called leading member of the Ndc legal team is becoming notorious for opening his mouth before employing his brains and he did it again commenting on the Supreme Court case ruling that made it unconstitutional for the Court to sit on public holidays. The aleatory by the rigging of election has imposed on Ghanaians some dubious characters whose pronounciations expose the country to ridicule to the international community. How can somebody so close to the Presidency say that it is illegal to arrest criminals on public holidays and that is exactly what this so called Nana Ato Dadzie said.

"The legal team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the party feels vindicated by the Supreme Court decision that revoked the power of the country’s courts to sit on public holidays.Citing a couple of instances in the 2008 elections to back its case, Nana Ato Dadzie, a leading member of the NDC legal team said on a public holiday in 2008, the NPP, led by Lawyer Atta Akyea went to court to try and overturn the declaration of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills as president. Again, he recalled on another public holiday in December, some two NDC members were arrested - an action they firmly believed was unconstitutional."

Can you believe this Ato Dadzie? What was unconstitutional? That in Ghana it is wrong to arrest criminals during public holidays? So the Police should give the criminals carte-blanche card to go on looting spree, Rapists to embark on their salacious interests and Armed Robbers to embark on their nocturnal activities since they cannot be arrested on those days.

Is Nana Ato Dadzie for real? Ghana is not a big stage for comedic rehearsals and Nana Ato Dadzie should realise that. My experience in life in Ghana being in close proximity to drunkards due to my family business in the Hotel and drinking bar service industry exposed me to these people and I can smell them miles away and people like Asiedu Nketiah and this Ato Dadzie should stay away from the Radio and TV stations when they get loaded with jorums of Jack Daniels brew, it is not doing them any good.
