What is the NDC on about?

All the while that the leadership of the NPP was meticulously gathering necessary credible evidence on the election malfeasance, malpractices and fraudulence, the NDC were giggling and teasing them for dithering. The NDC bigwigs and faithful were accusing the NPP of having no credible evidence able to let them go to court to seek the annulations of the election results as already declared by Dr. Afari-Gyan, the Chair of the Electoral Commission. The NDC was accusing the NPP of being purely an empty vessel making most nonsensical noise. When the Big mind speaks, the Little mind does not understand but keeps scratching his head and making a fool of himself. The NDC find themselves now in this situation.

The General Secretary of NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, that ungrateful scrawny person, followed by a gaggle of supporters was all over the place uttering balderdash. Lo and behold, the NPP have finally fulfilled their promise to the discerning citizenries of Ghana by filing a petition at the Supreme Court to challenge the presidential election results declared in favour of John Dramani Mahama.

"Educated illiterates" or "semi-literates" as most of the NDC brotherhood are, they are still having difficulty guessing how effective the evidential ammunition the NPP has to overturn the Election 2012 results. Ignorant and less intelligent as most of them are, they had expected the NPP leadership to offer them details about their gathered evidence at the press conference. In the absence of details, they find the highlights as without merit or enough credibility to justify the action taken by the NPP in an attempt to secure the invalidation of the 2012 presidential election results. Why does the NDC want NPP to give away their secret evidential weapon before the court hearing, deliberation and ruling? Is the NDC of that little mind? They should note that they are dealing with legal luminaries but not street hooligans without iota of sense and self-respect.

The NDC will know about the details when the Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan and the now President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, are dragged to court. They will be shocked at the detail revelation of the unprecedented gargantuan fraud that went on to secure John Mahama the winning results. Once the judges prove any aspect of election fraud beyond reasonable doubt, they will subsequently invalidate the results declared by Afari-Gyan.

NDC, please prepare for the shock of your life. Your joy will only be short-lived. Democracy has many hidden shocks that no one can insulate themselves against their distresses. No known political shock absorbers can save the NDC from suffering the brunt of the shock when the Supreme Court delivers its studious verdict based on the credible evidence before her. One of them is the possibility of overturning the election results in favour of Nana Akuffo-Addo where credible evidence points to that direction. Another will be asking for the re-run of the elections between President-elect John Mahama and Nana Akuffo-Addo where none of them gets 50% + 1 vote. Finally, the court can confirm John Mahama the President-elect where the evidence proves that he did win majority votes of 50% + 1 vote on December 7, 2012. This aspect could never happen under dictatorial or autocratic rule where the president would abusively exercise extra detrimental powers.

The practice of democracy goes with learning to accommodate differences of opinion, compromising, as may be stipulated into laws and regulations. It obliges every citizen to respect the laws of the land as well as bear the full consequences of any infraction of the laws and regulations as compiled into a Constitution.

Asiedu Nketiah, Kwesi Pratt and all other NDC little minds or "educated illiterates" can make as most noise as they like, the decision of who the President of Ghana is for the next four years is in the ambit of the Supreme Court of Ghana. All noises both NDC and NPP are making at this stage are meaningless. Let us wait patiently or impatiently for the Supreme Court's declaration of who actually is the winner of the 2012 presidential elections in Ghana.

Ghana as the Black Star and the beacon of Africa democracy is about to make indelible history - overturning election results. What a beauty of democracy! We need JUSTICE now. PEACE will automatically come about after the emergence of justice from the ongoing Election 2012 hullabaloo. Who at all in their right frame of mind would vote for the NDC after all their unprecedented gargantuan corruption, fraudulent payments of judgment debts, mediocrity, incompetence, fondness to perpetrate selective justice and lawlessness, and propensity to lie?

I wish Kofi Basoah, Kwaku Burger, Kwaku Osei etc. a prosperous New Year. I further wish every Ghanaian regardless of their political persuasion a Happy New Year.
