Why must a sports presenter be arrested for smoking Marijuana?

I am around to always set the record straight, thus to always face facts
and tell the truth without fear or favour, and in fact Patrick Osei Agyeman
alias Countryman Songo of Asempa FM Fire for Fire fame is a disgrace to
sports presenters in Ghana.

How on earth does this fine sports presenter who should have known better
have to take drugs to perform as a sports presenter?
A friend of mine, Gordon Brobbey, who is currently in USA, once wrote on
his Facebook wall that, those presenters on the Fire for Fire sports
programme on Asempa FM and Multi TV have wicked faces on the set and l
defended my colleagues not knowing l was defending a wee smoker.
l am sad, how on earth should a tv station and radio station as big as
Multi TV and Asempa FM recruit a drug peddler as their worker? l
congratulate the Ghana Police force for that raid. It is unusual to capture
two presenters caught among 7 wee smokers at Nima King Tackie Tawia
overhead bridge, very sad indeed.
l have monitored all the sports programmes around Accra, none of them have
carried out this story because Songo is part of the industry. l understand
there was another big presenter among those arrested, he is a political
host presenter at Happy FM, Bismark Brown AKA BB.
This is where l don't like the politicians in this country to come near the
case to rescue these people. The laws of this country concerning drugs must
be accordingly applied to serve as deterrent to other presenters who smoke
wee before they go on air.
The media are quiet on this case because those people caught are in the
industry. Had this case happened to a different person you would have seen
how they would criticse the fellow. When Mighty Jets owner Alhaji Abu
Sondoko was arrested for similar offence, we were in this country and we
saw how circulated the story was - we should be fair here.
l want to hear from Sometimer, Krugger, PJ, Osei Asibey on this case
because this is the best sports news ever. We always find it difficult
searching for sports news on air, now this time the mountain has come to
Mohammed, the story is just at your door so treat it a such.
When people like this whom should have known better get themselves involved
in such cases, they should be severely punished when found guilty because
you talk to masses by the power of Radio and TV.
Country man Songo was doing a great job similar to my role but what he has
done, he has disgraced all of us because, it is now assumed by the people
of this country that a person who criticize much on radio, might be
involved in drugs.
l am not judging but l have read the laws concerning such offences, the
culprit risk facing 10 years imprisonment. lt is a lesson.
Once again, good work Ghana Police for such a wonderful job.
