JJ’s apocalyptic anxieties
His unraveling of illusion
Hardened in kilns of bigotry
The sun’s rays on his past
Capturing revelatory clarity
Crafting narratives of demise
Their late sunsets

Of JJ’s fireside habits
Of burning it all
Like a harmattan fire
Reckless posturing
Demagogic theatrics
Of demeaning all
