This Adisco Principal Must Go

I have been following the issue of sodomy involving a tutor and some unspecified number of students (is it five or six?) in my alma mater. It is most unfortunate that such a devilish behavior should bring Adisco’s name and image into disrepute. Without any iota of doubt I can confidently say that every Adisco boy is proud of this school, but to bring us down in this manner leaves much to be desired. Listening to the unfolding events via the internet and some gossips among old boys in this god forsaken environment, I find it difficult to understand why the school authorities hired this tutor to only come and mess up the guys, more so when this culprit was supposed to have done same at St Augusco. How did it happen? Is there no mechanism to find out the records of would- be employees? In my adopted country here, even though we sometimes complain about the cumbersome processes one undergoes before being hired, we still believe that it is the best method to know about the one being hired.
In any organization worth its credit the onus rests on the executive officer to put in place mechanisms for such a process. In Africa I think it is the Principal who does this and therefore the Principal must answer for this mishap. Did he hire the tutor or he had no hand in his employment? Strangely, in Africa, responsible positions as that of the Principal are usually considered as gifts and not positions for competent people otherwise the Principal in my school should be fired outright for negligence of duty. For all you know, people see nothing wrong with the Principal because he is not the one who sodomized the boy(s) but who is the ultimate boss of the college? I want to suggest that the Principal should be fired or made to resign immediately because he isn’t got the guts to handle affairs of the college effectively. If I were him my first reaction would have been my resignation. I know he isn’t gonna do that because like I said, that position is a birthday present to him. Indeed the Principal of the other college should also be fired. He seems to have known a bit about this guy and yet refused to divulge the information to my alma mater.
I’m calling on all old boys both at home and in the Diasporas to work hard to rescue this great college from this messy situation. Why is the Principal not responding to this issue in particular and other allegations against him? Is this issue being treated with the seriousness that we are made to believe its happening in the Ghanaian media, then the appropriate authorities should wake from their slumber and tackle the problem head on.
