Lessons From Egypt To Ghana

The caption and thrust of Abdul-Yekin's article should have been Lessons From Ghana To Egypt. However imperfect our 1992 Constitution is, it surely would have served Hosni Mubarak and Egypt very well.
Furthermore, Mr. Mubarak has not invested his time and energy into making the AU a reality. He hasn't paid attention to the gaze of the Great Sphinx of Egypt - to look south. Instead, he looked west to America, north to Europe, & east to Arabia. Egypt's destiny and prosperity lie south with the Nile and Africa. Gamel Abdel Nasser saw that and started collaborating with Kwame Nkrumah on behalf of African Unity.
