My 2010 World Cup Prediction from Group Stage to the Final

The prediction bellow is based on the talent available in each of the 32 teams representing their nations at South Africa, the number of injured players in each of the teams, the number of players with world Cup experience, level of determination and motivation of each national team, the weather at South Africa, Coach of each national team and the level of possible support from fans during the tournament.

Group A
Group A, is made up of France, Mexico, South Africa and Uruguay. This group is generally not a strong group. My Prediction: France and South Africa will proceed to the knockout stage




Group B
Group B, is made up of Argentina, Greece, Nigeria and South Korea. This group is fairly strong.
My Prediction: Argentina and Nigeria will proceed to the knockout stage.

Group C
Group C, is made up of Algeria, England, Slovenia and USA. My Prediction: Slovenia and England will proceed to the knockout stage.

Group D
Group D, is one of the strongest groups and is made up of Australia, Germany, Ghana and Serbia
My Prediction: Germany and Ghana will proceed to the knockout stage.

Group E
Group E, is fairly strong, and is made up of Cameroon, Denmark, Netherlands and Japan.
My Prediction: Cameroon and Netherlands will proceed to the knockout stage.

Group F
Group F, is made up of Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay, and Slovakia.
My Prediction: Paraguay and Slovakia will proceed to the knockout stage.












Group G
Group G, is believed to be the strongest group. It is made up of Brazil, Ivory Coast, North Korea and Portugal. My Prediction: Brazil and Ivory Coast will proceed to the knockout stage.

Group H
Group H, is made up of Chile, Honduras, Spain and Switzerland. My Prediction: Spain and Chile will proceed to the knockout stage.

Last 16 or Knockout Stage
If the predictions above goes as expected, you will see the following 16 teams at the knockout stage. France, South Africa, Argentina,Nigeria, Slovenia, England, Germany, Ghana, Cameroon, Netherlands, Paraguay, Slovakia, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Spain and Chile.




Quarter-finals
I predict the following teams will proceed to the quarter finals.
Argentina, Nigeria, Ghana, Germany, Netherlands, Paraguay, Brazil and Ivory Coast.

Semi - finals
I predict the following teams will proceed to the semi final.
Argentina, Ghana, Netherlands and Ivory Coast.

Final
Netherlands and Ghana
