President Mills, NDC MPs and NDC Leadership Exposed

On the 7th of January 2009 power was transferred from NPP government to NDC government and Attah Mills was crowned the president of Ghana. After his coronation, Ghanaians had high hopes and NDC supporters expected swift action from the president and his team.

The hawks in NDC were expectant that officials of the previous administration who ‘looted’ public funds will be arrested and prosecuted. But this was not to be the case. President Mills and his team have lost focus and do not seem to know what they are doing. There are high level rumours that President Mills may have gone into a secret pact with the NPP before the electoral Commissioner declared the election results on the 3rd of January this year.

This is manifested in the apparent collusion between the NDC majority MPs and the NPP minority in parliament. Some NDC MPs are upset that the president did not consider them for ministerial position and therefore have decided to collude with the NPP minority to undermine the president. How myopic!

Another issue is that the NPP has an effective propaganda which scares NDC and government officials who fear that the NPP dominated media will target and blackmail or expose them. Some NDC officials are literally hiding under beds in their bedrooms for fear of being asked to comment on burning issues in Ghana. Also the Vice President has very close links to the NPP more than the NDC. The coffee shop mafia are all regular visitors to the Vice President’s house and offices where they have built a relationship which enabled the mafia to regroup and highly vibrant than before.

The pro NDC media namely The True Democrat, The Daily Democrat, The Palaver, Enquirer, Lens, The Weekly Standard, etc are all in a fix. They only publish pro-NDC or pro-government stories to save face. They know that the coffee shop mafia is much powerful than them even in an NDC government. Also the appointment of James Agyenim Boateng as deputy minister for Information is just a camouflage to calm down members of Radio Gold. The radio stations that did the dirty work for NDC to win power are of course Radio Gold and GFM radio in London. These two stations used their networks to send out deceitful messages before and during the last elections. Their staffs was even sleeping in their studios just to do their dirty and damaging broadcast during the elections. I sincerely believe that both Radio Gold and GFM Radio (London) will be disappointed, because they will not benefit from this government. They should also be ashamed of themselves for the dangerous material they put out to the public. The NPP should take note of these two stations and be very careful not to undermine them but to keep a safe distance.

The NDC as a party and as a government has nothing to offer Ghanaians except feed them with lies. What is heart warming is that the NPP is still very much in the picture and controls a greater percentage of government. This will ensure that the good policies of NPP will not be destroyed by this clueless NDC government who can’t differentiate good policies from bad ones. I congratulate the minority in Parliament and the entire members of the NPP who have kept their public relations going and are exposing the NDC government which is ruling by proxy.

NPP and Coffee shop mafia keep up the pressure; they are crumbling one by one. The firebrand Tony Aidoo has threaten to stop talking as he claims that he is not getting support from his party and that leaves Kwesi Pratt. He will also stop talking now for he will soon realise that NDC is up to no good and they are not a party to belong to.

If NPP is able to sustain the heat, 2012 will be another year for victory celebration for the them. There is clear chance for Nana Akuffo Addo in 2012 if he is given the chance to lead his party again. I see that the embarrassment ex-president Kufuor is going through is a good omen for Nana Ado. This means that most people will now look up to him to reclaim power and they will have confidence in him than any other person in the NPP.

President Attah Mills should continue sitting in the castle smiling to the cameras thinking that he is on course and Ghanaians will once again show their political true colours. I hope the pro-NDC media will turn against the government when their frustration reaches melting point. Whether they like it or not Kwesi Pratt and his Insight newspaper will betray them and that will be good for the main opposition party.

The whole talking about perceived wrongdoing in the previous administration is just hoax; there is nothing the government can do. An NPP insider told me that they are in control of the situation and know what they are doing so that the government can’t successfully prosecute any member of the previous administration. I want all Ghanaians to joint me to hoot at Radio Gold, GFM Radio (London), The Enquirer, The Insight, The Daily Democrat, The True Democrat, The Palaver, The Lens, The Weekly Standard, TV3 and all those who helped NDC to lie their way into power; hoooooooooooooo, shame on you all. You have done a disservice to mother Ghana.
