Maintain This Squad ...

AND GIVE EQUAL ATTENTION TO ALL NATIONAL TEAMS-REV.OSEI KOFI

Rev.Osei Kofi, a former black stars player has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to maintain the current under 17 women’s team, the Black Maidens who could not make it to the quarter final stage of the on-going FIFA Women’s under 17 World Cup in NewZealand. He based his analysis on the maiden’s performance at the on-going tournament and asked that the GFA gives equal attention to the national teams.

• Ghana 1-1 Korea DPR(FIRST MATCH AT CHRIST CHURCH)

• Germany 3-2 Ghana

• Ghana 1-0 Costa

Rev.Osei Kofi said “they played well but the lack of experience let them down. The GFA should maintain the current team for the next level (Black Princesses) and give the coach, Abraham Allotey another chance with the girls”.

In an interview with the former black stars player, he said it is time the GFA gave equal attention to all the national teams not just the blackstars.According to Rev.Osei, the girls went to the tournament without an FA official and as if to add salt to injury, no supporting group accompanied them. He says, these were contributing factors to the maidens’ failure.
