A new Jerry Boom?

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents,

Last week our country lost one of its most illustrious and accomplished sons ? Prof. Adu Boahen. The good professor had been battling with disease for years and his passing, though sad, was not surprising. Whiles I mourn his passing and console his family, I celebrate his intellect and his accomplishments. He fought hard (but unsuccessfully) to become the president of Sikaman. But he laid much of the foundation that made it possible for me to become what I am today.

Prof. Adu Boahen couldn?t become the president of Sikaman largely because when he tried, Jerry Boom?s rigging machinery was well oiled and very efficient. The two men hardly saw eye-to-eye and I would bet my last pesewa that they hated each other?s guts.
