The church and our society: The church must arise

"The church should tighten the moral belt used to correct and shape students in the high schools because it is the messages of the church that creates a visionary and aspirational society." Religion is good and it's principles have proven invaluable in organising a sane society throughout time. Christianity and Isam, the two major religions in the country both have a n interesting history in building our educational system and needless to mention, the society. They have however outlived their purpose and relevance on that large scale and should be treated as personal pursuits instead of national obligations. World economy now thrives in secular environments where ideas are nurtured on absolute principles and objective analysis; something we can all benefit from. Morality should be based on universal principles and not sectarian ideals. Immoral people will have no respect for religious principles no matter how many times they frequent religious meetings. Religion uses the classic style of threat (fear) and promise to keep people in order; but remember fear can only be used once or twice to control people and beyond that the people get out of control. This is evident in a lot of societies and sub-cultures.
