Columnist: Sangaparee, Clement

Who Are The Biggest Thieves In Ghana? – Part 3

I am using this social media to advise all columists in the various newspapers and Ghanaweb.com to avoid publishing wild unsubstantiated allegations, trash and outright falsehood against innocent politicians just because they disagree with such people or because of pure hatred. The reason is that the columnist can be sued in court by the aggrieved people for libel running into billions of Ghana cedis as well as the media house that published the false article because everybody has a reputation to protect, so all columnists must do a lot of research before they decide to expose people especially politicians, most of them in the NPP who hate the truth.
They have lost the 2012 general election and have gone to the Supreme Court and will lose again because they are extremely bitter and so, if you play the fool and an NPP member grabs and bites you, no medical officer in the whole big world can save your life even though snake bites can easily be cured within a day or two.
It is not only very dangerous to publish lies against innocent politicians from both sides of the political divide, but it is also ungodly to do that, this is my rich advice to all columnists in Ghana- I hope this is a very clear advice. The Youth form 80% of Ghana’s population and these Youth were not born during Dr. Nkrumah’s regime from 1956-1966, there were not born during the era of the National Liberation Council (NLC) military junta led by General Kotoka and A.A. Afrifa – Feb. 1966 to 1969. They were not born during the era of Dr. K.A. Busia’s Progress Party government from 1969-1972, Yet still, majority of the youth were not born during the then National Redemption Council (NRC) military junta led by General Acheampong from 1972-1978 which overthrew Dr. Busia’s Progress Party government, or during the palace coup led by General Akuffo who removed Gen. Acheampong at gun point in July 1978, and on June 4, 1979 when the World President Flt. Lt. J.J. Rawlings, then a military officer lined up these nation wreckers at the Teshie military range on the orders of Ghanaians and gave them firing squad to the pleasure of all Ghanaians except the bereaved families of the slain solidiers. Finally, most of the youth did not know or understand the main reasons why some 3 former heads of state and 6 senior military officers were tied to the stakes and shot dead by the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) led by Chairman Rawlings June 1979. September 1979 just 3 months in office but there was Probity, Accountability cleanliness and discipline in Ghanaian society.
Jerry Rawlings handed over power to Dr. Hilla Liman in September 1979 and boldly told him (Limann) that he was on probation.
However, Western nations led by Britain deceived Limann to do away with the Peoples man Jerry Rawlings before the British flew to Ghana and re-organised the Ghana Armed Forces. Dr. Limann was NOT and Nkrumahist at all neither had he held a CPP membership card before he was a dyed in the wool NPP card bearing member- so he turned Rawlings as his Number (1) enemy and all June 4 members including this writer were sack through an order from President Limann to all management of public Boards and corporations nationwide to dismiss ALL KNOWN Supporters of the June 4 Movement and his order was obeyed. As for the military the police, the prisons and other security agencies they were quickly identified dismissed while several officers were even tortured to death by the Military in the barracks on the orders of Dr. Limann who ordered the Military Intelligence (MI) chaps to follow Jerry Rawlings and Captain (rtd) Kojo Tsikata 24hrs daily until Rawlings came back on 31st December 1981 and booted out the corrupt PNP Government under Dr. Limann. I was a member of the June 4 Movement who was sacked by Dr. Limann’s PNP government through a letter signed by Dr. Nabila the then minister of Presidential affairs who dispatched that letter to AGC in March 1980 and I was sacked alongside 102 miners in the AGC. We, the June members went underground and eluded the dreaded MI chaps while preparing the people of Ghana for the support of the 31st December revolution without the knowledge of the dreaded MI chaps – after all, who born dog?
All active members of June 4 actually knew that Rawlings was going to launch a revolution to overthrow Dr. Limann’s govt-but we did not know the actual date-well. The rest is history. It is not the leadership of the NPP that legitimize a President of Ghana, they have no mandate to do so, at all. Yes the Apostles of the Rule of Law have now become the rule of man by taking the Law into their hands. It is rather the people of Ghana who always cast their votes to elect a President and the Electoral Commissioner is the ONLY person mandated by the 1992 constitution to declare the results, and he has been doing exactly so since 1992 to date 2012. These empty receptacles parading as members of parliament representing the Minority NPP must give us a break. Can you believe that the NPP, when in power refused to sack their inspector General of Police even when millions of Ghana Cedis worth of cocaine got lost from the strong room in the Police headquarters where the IGP is located? Cocaine trade began to flourish under the NPP government and any mention of the NPP and its relations with cocaine was brushed aside as mere perception until Mr. Eric Amoateng, an NPP MP for Nkoranza North was arrested in the United States and finally jailed. Even so, Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, now minority leader stood on the floor of parliament and shamefully bragged that there was nothing to show that Eric Amoateng was guilty of exporting heroin – GNA report Jan. 17th 2006, This MP for Suame was in criminal solidarity with the disgraced MP for Nkoranza North – what a big shame. When the police arrested some cocaine suspects at East Legon, they started negotiating with the leader of the drug barons on telephone to pay them money so that they could REPLACE the cocaine with SODA POWDER. The then IGP was closely connected with the NPP government, and was involved in that case as well. He was deeply involved with negotiating with the girl friend of the leader of the drug barons. In the end , that cocaine case died a natural death with the lying NPP, IGP Mr. Patrick Kwarteng Acheampong still holding on to his post until the end of the NPP rule in 2009 while innocent people were quickly processed for court and jailed – Oh! God help Ghana. Therefore, if Nana Akuffo Addo had won the 2012 election to become Ghana’s President the NPP would have corrupted the Judiciary, the Army the Police and Civil Service by turning Ghana into a Cocaine State forever. They are Thieves Is that clear? I shall return when the need arise. I am done. “Jaanbie Iwaii”. Aluta Continua.
